Baby/Toddler/Little Kid Sock Organizing Hack
There is nothing cuter than baby feet.
Oh! those wittle teeny toes!! And those cute little feet need cute little socks. So many socks!
My son has a drawer full of little socks. They are too small to roll into pairs and, for many months, were just in chaos in a drawer. Every time we needed a pair, it was a time consuming game of find the matching pair.
The chaos ended when I figured out a simple trick to keep them matched. So, here is an easy hack to keep all those socks organized and matched:
Use sewing clips
” I used to have a few jokes about pairs of matching socks, but I’ve lost one.”
Sole Mates
These clips are used for sewing, quilting, and crafts. They come in a variety of colors, so you can match them to your nursery. They easily clip your little one’s socks together and make their sock drawer much more user friendly.
When I take a pair of socks out of the drawer, I just clip the clip onto the Drawer Organizerto store it until the pair of socks make it safely through wearing, laundry, and back into the drawer.
It’s a wild world out there, and, sadly, not every sock returns. Sometimes the clips are just reminders of the socks that never made it home.
I can guarantee this will keep your little one’s socks paired while they are being stored. Once you remove that clip, all bets are off.
