a wonderous journey
At 40 years young, I began the most magical adventure of my life. I loved every aspect of being pregnant. Sure there were a few challenges, but the overall experience was one that I will always treasure. Feeling my little tummy traveler kick, wiggle, and hiccup was such a miraculous thing. But the real miracle was the moment I first held my sweet baby boy in my arms.
Four years later and I am pregnant again, and the mama of a loud, silly, smart, and energetic pre-schooler. I honestly feel like I’m just winging this whole motherhood thing, but I love nothing more than watching my son grow, learn, and explore. Every day is a new adventure filled with laughter, pride, and big preschooler emotions. I am definitely blessed to be his mama.
Cruelty-Free Life
A rewarding journey
At eleven years old, I decided to become a lacto-ovo vegetarian. There were many reasons why I made this decision. But mostly, the thought of eating animals just totally repulsed me.
In 2016, I gave up dairy and eggs. I adopted a plant-based diet and started educating myself about how to lead a cruelty-free lifestyle. I am by no means perfect; I simply do my best to live as cruelty-free as possible.

a consumer’s journey
As a new mom, I had no idea what items I needed to get through pregnancy, postpartum, and the huge life change of welcoming a new, tiny human into our home. I read a lot and asked people around me for advice. I relied on online product reviews to guide me towards the best products and supplies. In the end, I found out that so much of it is just trial and error.
There are a million mommy blogs and creating one was never a goal of mine. But I had a consumer experience that pushed me in this direction.
So… Here I am! And since I’m here, I might as well talk about all of my favorite–and not so favorite–things.
