My Experience

When I became a mom, I was clueless about all the things that you have to deal with when caring for a newborn. One of those things is baby acne. Although a lot of babies get this to varying degrees, it’s hard to see your brand new baby’s soft skin resembling a hormonal teenager. It looks painful and all you want to do is resolve it quickly.

I searched out remedies and was told to just let it heal on its own, or to not use soap only water to cleanse it, or apply the cure-all… breastmilk. None of these really helped and luckily I ran across Mustela products at the baby store. (I LOVE all things Mustela!)

My Recommendation

I love these Push Down Pump Dispensers.

They make it easy to apply the micellar water to cotton rounds.

Why I Recommend This Product

In as soon as one day after I applied the Mustela No-Rinse Clensing Water, I saw an improvement in my son’s skin. It was almost like a miracle. And not only does it work well, it smells amazing!

I simply applied a pump or two to an organic cotton round and then gently wiped it across his skin. It is gentle, effective, and doesn’t need to be rinsed off.

You can apply it several times a day on all parts of your baby’s skin. It’s great for quick clean ups, especially when spilt milk finds it’s way into those cute little skin folds. And did I mention how great it smells? I love that signature Mustela scent.

Speaking of that Mustela scent. Here are some the other Mustela products that I love that have the same Mustela iconic scent:

What about An Unscented or Organic Version?

Mustela also offers various products that are fragrance free, and they offer an unscented Organic No-Rinse Cleansing Water for those who are in search of those requirements.

Personally, I prefer the scented version and felt like the Organic No-Rinse Cleansing Water didn’t perform quite as well. But, that is just my experience.

They also offer a Baby Soothing No-Rinse Cleansing Water for Very Sensitive Skin that is unscented. I have not tried this version.

Not Just For Babies

I usually purchase the large 750ml bottle of The Mustela No-Rinse Cleansing Water because the whole family uses it. It’s not just a baby product, it’s a mommy product.

The large bottle acts like a refill to pour into the smaller bottles that I have through the house. (My bathroom, My son’s bathroom, and the nursery diapering station)

I currently use it on my newborn to cleanse and refresh her skin throughout the day. I have been using it since day one on her, and she has maintained a beautiful complexion!

My now 4 year old son loves to have his face cleansed with it and also uses it on his armpits that tend to get a little stinky after an active day in the Florida heat.

I personally enjoy applying to my face at the beginning of the day. It feels refreshing and invigorating in the morning. And at the end of the day, it’s great at removing makeup.

And did I mention how great it smells?!

Why I Love Mustela Products

Obviously, you know that I love the iconic Mustela scent… Aromatherapy in bottle. But I also love that their products are all hypo-allergenic, moisturizing, and gentle enough for newborns. Mustela products may be marketed for babies, but they are great for all ages.
