my experience
I saw Rewind’s advertisement for a free 1 Day Micro-Cleanse and was intrigued. I clicked on the link and read about their product’s wonderful taste. I mean Hawaiian Punch and Grape Soda? Yes, please!
I have tried several green juice drinks that make promises of tasting delicious, and they all fall short. Most of them taste like grass clippings or have some weird flavor that’s trying to cover up the mowed-grass nastiness. If I can get past the taste and finish the drink, I expect to feel good afterwards. Well… I’ve had several green drinks that actually make me feel awful after drinking them.
Still, after all these bad experiences, I had not lost hope of finding the perfect greens drink. I paid the $9.99 shipping fee and ordered the Rewind’s free 1 Day Micro-Cleanse.
My Recommendation

The 1 Day Micro-Cleanse includes all of the Rewind Green flavors for you to experience. I tried each packet with 8 oz. of ice cold water mixed together effortlessly in my Blender Bottle.
REJUVENATING BERRY:
They say: Hawaiian Punch.
Booyah Mom says: Pretty close to a fruit punch. It is less sweet than all the other flavors to me. Tastes similar to the cherry. It is refreshing, light, and enjoyable.
PERFECTLY PINEAPPLE:
They say: Piña Colada
Booyah Mom says: I agree. I only tried it with water, but with a dairy-free milk it would definitely be piña colada worthy. Yummy!
REFRESHINGLY ORANGE:
They say: Tang.
Booyah Mom says: A bad, knockoff version of Tang. This was my least favorite flavor. I would not want to drink this one again.
GRAPE:
They say: Grape soda
Booyah Mom says: Close. Maybe with some club soda instead of water it would really take on that flavor experience. Can you mix greens with club soda? I’ll have to try it!
PEACH:
They say: Peach Rings (candy)
Booyah Mom says: Yes! It really does taste exactly like that nostalgic candy. But, I had that lingering “greens” aftertaste with this one.
CHERRY:
They say: Cherry Ice
Booyah Mom says: YES!! Cherry Ice for sure. Or straight up cherry Kool-aid! I totally expected to go look in the mirror and see a red tongue. I don’t know how they worked their magic with this one, but it’s amazing! Does not tastes like a greens drink at all. It tastes very unhealthy, in the best way possible. And despite it being the sweetest of them all, this was my favorite flavor.

About the Micro-cleanse
For 24 hours, I drank nothing but Rewind Greens and water on an otherwise empty stomach. To my surprise, I just kept feeling better and better! This said something to me… I need this in my life!
I finished the Micro-Cleanse and felt so amazing the whole time! I even had a great night’s sleep. ? To be honest, I was nervous about not eating and chasing a toddler around all day. And because I’ve had other green drinks make me feel terrible, I was extra nervous. But, I’m so glad I tried this out.
The drinks taste delicious and make me feel energized and wonderful. No crash, and I never experienced any of those symptoms of fasting that usually take me over like irritability or feeling woozy.
My ONLY gripe about this product is that it is not fully organic

I had to make Rewind Greens a part of my daily routine.
I ended up falling madly in love with the Cherry flavor, in love with the Pineapple, and in like with the Rejuvenating Berry. I went to their website to order all three, but the Pineapple was sold out. I ordered what was available, and will return for the Pineapple when it is back in stock.
When the full-sized containers arrived at my house, I rushed to the kitchen to make a drink for myself and my partner. He had yet to try them. He immediately agreed on how delicious they are. My little one loves them too, of course!
And when you check out Rewind’s Website, you are brought back to the 80s! That’s pretty cool!
Just writing about these drinks makes me want another. I’m heading to the kitchen for one right now… I think I might be addicted. ?

If you are wondering how I mix my greens. It’s with a Blender Bottle. If you don’t have one yet, you need a few. They are the absolute best at blending powder drinks together, especially Rewind Greens. I use mine every day, several times a day. They come in all sorts of colors and sizes. My favorite is the insulated stainless steel one.

Update July 2021
The flavors that I initially sampled are not all currently available, but it seems like Rewind is creating new flavors and will be introducing them soon. As of this moment, you can purchase Cherry, Peach, Pineapple, and Berry. The greens drinks are no longer packaged in a cylindric container, but come in a bag. I saved my old containers and just empty the bags into them. If the bag isn’t convenient for you either, I suggest purchasing a small container elsewhere that will house your greens for easy scooping. My family is still enjoying the greens immensely. They are a part of our daily routine! We absolutely love them!
Update October 2021
The formula that I loved and reviewed here is no longer being made. They have replaced it with a new formula. Unfortunately, I will not be able to review that formula because they have added vitamins that I can not tolerate and carrageenan, which is a controversial ingredient. Another thing that is upsetting about the changes is that the vitamins are in adult doses, I would not feel comfortable giving this to my toddler. I also used to do fasting days where I would only drink water and greens (6 servings in a day). With this new formula (if I were able to tolerate the added vitamins) I would no longer be able to do this without consuming levels of vitamins that are exceedingly high.
I feel like this new formula is no longer a true whole food “greens drink,” but is more of a powdered multi-vitamin with fruit and vegetable blends. I was a loyal customer and I am very sad about the changes. If their formula changes again, to one my family and I can ingest safely, I will definitely return to purchase more and give you an updated review.
On a positive note, for those who are able to consume the new formula, there are a variety of exciting new flavors to try! And Rewind definitely makes tastes that can’t be beat.

I don’t think it is advertised as a “meal replacement,” but I have replaced meals with a greens drink. I do it a lot with breakfast. I’m not a daily breakfast person and find that a greens drink in the morning is a wonderful alternative to a meal. I joke that my morning greens are my cup of coffee. I can’t handle caffeine, so I’m not a morning coffee drinker. The greens give me a little pick-me-up to start my day.
Yes! The pineapple greens with almond milk is delicious!

ATROCIOUS customer service. Order took over 3 weeks to arrive. Contacted company three times before I heard back – and even then, the company’s response was to “wait”. Company conveyed zero concern for my unfortunate experience and even less concern about keeping me as a customer. Really surprised and extremely disappointed – I had so much hope for Rewind.

I know I have had my frustrations with the greens drinks being out of stock for extended periods of time. They have also changed packaging, removed and reintroduced flavors, and I noticed that they used to have some kind of bars that people raved about that were discontinued. I figured it was Covid-related issues, but I hope they get it together soon. I feel you though… If I didn’t love the greens so much, I might not be as patient as I have been.

Do they not still have the 1-day cleanse kit? I don’t see it on their site. Super bummed… it seemed like a great way to try all the flavors. I’m skeptical about any “green drinks” not tasting like greens so I was pumped to have the option to try them all in one kit before committing to a whole portion.

I just looked and it seems like they don’t have the cleanse available right now. They do seem to have an issue with keeping things in stock, package changes, and discontinuing & bringing back flavors. I hope they bring it back so you can give it a try. I can vouch that they definitely don’t taste “green.” My favorite, the cherry, actually tastes “red.” LOL!

I think, in this case, a “cleanse” is just a period of time when you eliminate solid foods. I definitely did not have any urgency to use the bathroom.
I actually felt amazing all day! In fact, going 24 hours with only drinking water and these greens drinks is what sold me on them.

Mine came in a bag with no scoop. How much do I need? It doesn’t look like much for 30 days.

I saved my canisters and refill from the bag. Hopefully they bring the canisters back, they are much more user friendly. You can always buy a small canister somewhere and dump your bag in.
1 scoop = 1 Tbsp and you add one scoop to 8-16 oz. of water. The less water, the stronger the flavor, obviously. Each package contains about 30 scoops, so if you drink one a day it should last a month.

Thank you for this information. I ordered the canisters years ago and loved them. Recently, I ordered again thinking they just changed the packaging. However, they’ve completely changed the content. Seems like they’ve decreased all the good stuff that made them awesome and then just added a ground up multivitamin. 🙁
Have you found another company that is more similar to the original formula?

You are welcome. I understand your frustration. I LOVED their original formula. Unfortunately, I have not found anything that is similar.
However, I did recently sample and purchase a powdered super fruit and veggie blend drink called Juce. I purchased the Garden Berry, which is a reds version. It is pretty delicious.
